New York,...good medicine for ailing Hawks

The first 10 minutes of the first period, you would have thought that their was an error on the scoreboard. It read 4-0 Blackhawks.

1st Period
01:05CHIPS - Jonathan Toews (28) Snap Shot - Assists: none
02:07CHINick Leddy (3) Slap Shot - Assists: M. Hossa (34) & B. Seabrook (18)
04:00CHIPatrick Sharp (23) Snap Shot - Assists: J. Toews (26)
09:38CHIMarian Hossa (22) Snap Shot - Assists: P. Kane (34) & B. Seabrook (19)

But, it was no mistake. The stars stepped up. Hossa, Toews, Sharp, Kane and Seabrook.

There was something that happened during the first period that may have flustered the Rangers...hey, we're still wondering what happened with this call.

The next 50 minutes of play was a slight favor to the Rangers who did put in two goals.

2nd PeriodCHI - NYR
3:04New York RangersNYR
Marc Staal 1 (Assists: Steve Eminger 3, Michael Rupp 1)
4 - 1
3rd PeriodCHI - NYR
15:15New York RangersNYR
Carl Hagelin 9 (Assists: Ryan McDonagh 16, Ryan Callahan 20)
4 - 2

But, yes,...they Hawks held on and Crawford (19th win of the season),played well to help the Hawks win and allow them to breathe for one more night. Now, they certainly weren't perfect tonight,...for they STILL haven't scored a PP goal on the road in FOREVER, but the "HOME" calls to try and even this game didn't work.  Hawks played very solid on the PK.

Look at what the New Yorkers put as the 3 stars of the game.......a bit surprising to tell you the truth.
