The Hawks didn't get down on themselves and quickly found the net with Jonathan Toews and Viktor Stalberg scoring to end the 1st period 2-1. The Hawks never looked back. Toews, Kane and Sharp all scored tonight. The sticks looked really good on defense, as well. This even included Bryan Bickell and Patrick Kane...what? yes they both played well on defense.
Dylan Olsen continued to be a good surprise with a +3 and 2 hits.
Kruger took a nice pass from Andrew Brunette and he scored his 6th. Hossa looked like a beast, and Keith and Seabrook played well.
Sami Lepisto finally got to play in the 3d period and scored his first Blackhawks goal. Nice way to get out of the doghouse Sami.
So, as the Hawks ended the 2nd longest road trip in their history, (2-6-1) they now go back home to an early game against the hot St. Louis Blues followed by the Detroit Redwings. Jimmy Hayes got into his first scrap. He looked good.
for the second straight game the Hawks on the road get all three stars....
