Good news! They didn't get killed. 1-0 : Niemi the Star

The Hawks outperformed the S. J. Sharks in every way but the final score. Good to see they were'n't the crap that showed up prior to this game. Antti Niemi was the #1 star of the game with 34 saves. Corey Crawford only faced 21 shots; 20 of which he stopped. The Hawks continued their woeful ways on Powerplay however. 0:4. This is the difference in the game. Sharks converted 1:4. That's all they needed. The redeflected shot off of Jonny Toews stick proved to be the game winner. But, that proves to be the nemesis for the Hawks. SHOOT THE DAMNED PUCK. They tend to dump in the puck, chase it, hope they get repossession of it, and if they don't they're chasing it back in their own zone again. They've had issues with their powerplay for the past few years. This isn't something that started this month. (Although, they weren't 8% in those years).
Bryan Bickell played. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh, .......I still suggest dump him at a Home Depot and tell him you'll pick him up in the afternoon. Then take off and hope he doesn't follow.
John Scott. I said it earlier in camp, that he doesn't deserve to be on an NHL roster, yet he was beating people to the puck all night. What? Really? Non-skatin' gargantuan of a man John Scott? Yep,...the very same. Hossa...........was simply robbed. He could have had 3 goals tonight. Let's see if they can win against LA and Anaheim. If they can they'll end up with a 3-3 Circus Trip and we'll promise never to tell anyone about it ever again. If they tank the next two nights they could be a dreadful 1-5. Let's hope that doesn't happen.

BTW,...saw the first edition of the leaderboard for the NHL all-stars. Ottawa is voting like crazy. But, here's the thing. NOT ONE OF THEM deserves to be in the game. Spezza, Alfredson and Michalek? Weak, weaker, weakest. ........well, look how I am talkin'? Like the Hawks players deserve to be there after this charade they call a 6 game road trip. Oh,.........boys, there is another 8 game road trip later on in the year. I hope you can get your act together LONG before then. Let's hope it's Friday at Anaheim.
