The Chicago Blackhawks have recalled forward Ben Smith from the American Hockey League's Rockford IceHogs.

Smith, 23, has recorded one goal in seven regular-season games with Chicago this season. Additionally, the Avon, Connecticut, native has notched 12 points (6G, 6A) in 10 regular-season AHL tilts with Rockford, including registering two helpers and a +3 plus/minus rating on Wednesday at Grand Rapids.
