600th win for Q. Emery wins 5th in a row. Jeremy Morin gets called up.

#3 Jonathan Toews, #2 Marian Hossa  #1 Niklas Hjalmarsson. As the Hawks win 4-2. (21-8-4).
The Hawks need to win this month, for January is going to be brutal with an 8 game road trip. I said in an earlier post.......that the Hawks could get 109 points easily.

(from Oct 4th: The Hawks do have a strong enough team "on paper" to challenge again. Last year was so frustrating to watch, it made you want to pull your hair out. Love the refreshed attitude. Got rid of the dead weight and the ankle anchor (Campbell contract). The Hawks will be hitting 109 points by April 1st. They're that good. )I still think this and I think it will hold true.

Since Last year Ray Emery was 7-2-0. This year 9-1-2.  How's that for a recovery from what was once considered a career ending surgery.

The Superstars shined again. Kaner finally nets a goal. Toews gets a point. Hossa and Sharp continue to rock!
In fact, Sharp has a point in at least 9 straight games. He currently leads the league in that category. (Stamkos' streak stopped).
Jeremy Morin got a call up (not Ben Smith) and he did well. (But, I do believe he'll be back in Rockford shortly).
Brent Seabrook got injured in tonight's game. Hopefully he recovers soon. (Here's the video clip on Rene Borque boarding Seabrook).
