He wasn't the only poor player...not by a LONG SHOT. The Hawks Brass should be having an IMMEDIATE meeting regarding this team. It JUST isn't working.
The Hawks didn't prepare. They underestimated Calgary and Edmonton. Did the Hawks party too much after Vancouver? Seriously? Did they? They looked BEAT. Looked EXHAUSTED.

The worst player on the ice was Duncan Keith. I said it the prior post... he needs to be demoted!!!!!! Sorry, Duncan, but you are not bringing anything to your team.
The Hawks "supposed grit" didn't do shit...........in the last 3 games. This includes the Vancouver game. No one was grinding.
As Troy Murray said on post-game radio, "....They weren't mentally prepared to play this game..."
I have been keeping up with this team the past 5 years, and the last two games were the worst games I've ever seen by this team.
What does Q do? I believe he must take Duncan's "Alternate" captain-ship away from him. I think that is a MUST.
Was Ben Smith working out? Not really. O'Donnell after many games of being a healthy scratch didn't do anything.
Steve Montador was also a -4 today. He was ' wacking away at the puck', but a -4 says it all.
So, what will the Hawks brass talk about tonight?
WHY is the defense abosutely wicked?
WHY is their penalty killing team GOD AWFUL?
Do the Hawks bring up Kyle Beach?......Seriously, this may be a good idea!!!!!!
Where was the energy and WHY were they so flat? Who is to be held responsible?
Is this the time to put Ben Smith back to Rockford,...bring up Brandon Pirri?
Is this the time to let go of Bryan Bickell?...we'll see what the Hawks do
Is this the time to go for a big name like Shane Doan ? ... They may consider bringing in another person now.
Is this the time for the Hawks to do something about Hjalmarsson?....is an option
O'Donnell....time to get rid of him? Seems to be too slow to play.
Brunette,...........hasn't been impressive this year at all.
