The Hawks have decided to take a little action. Here is what is going on.
1) Hawks trade information
"The Chicago Blackhawks have acquired Forward Michal Handzus from the S.J. Sharks in exchange for a 4th Round selection in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft.
2) As soon as this happened we knew a few things.
a) Brandon Bollig was going back to Rockford....and of course we were correct.
"The Chicago Blackhawks have reassigned forward Brandon Bollig to the Rockford IceHogs of the AHL."
b) Jeremy Morin and Jimmy Hayes were going to hold position until Marian Hossa and Patrick Sharp are ready to return......(You can only hold 23 roster positions in the NHL)....Guess they're ready to come back.

The Hawks then acquired the rights to defenseman Kirill Gotovets from the Tampa Bay Lightning in exchange for forward Philippe Paradis.
As for the "whereabouts" of Brandon Bollig.....no need to worry if he's diving off someone's roof. Here he is today taking a "Where's Waldo" picture and posting it on his twitter. Guess he's finding this all a bit humorous.
I love his comeback to some smart ass that said no one misses him....look at this comment he tweeted back. Hilarious!!!!!

Now....What could the Hawks be up to? I don't think that the Hawks will do anything on the NHL level. If think the addition of Handzus was all the the splash they are going to make.
